Rulings on Fatawa Center are issued by the named scholar credited on each one. Research articles are published by the Islamic Research Network. Guidance on Embracing Islam is editorial material written for people new to Islam.

What it is not

A published ruling answers the question that was asked, in the circumstances described. It is not a substitute for a qualified scholar who knows your situation, and it is not legal, medical or financial advice.

You may quote and share this material with attribution and a link to the original page. Republishing whole rulings or articles, or presenting them as your own, is not permitted.

Donations

Donations are received by the Islamic Research Network for the network as a whole and are applied at its discretion across the platforms.
